Halloween is COMING!!!!

I pray that I will have the time for plenty of Halloween doodles as well a new haunted house that will spew awesomeness and dwarf last years house. I know, I know, it is ridiculously early but the early bird does always get the worm. HELL YEAH!!!!!! ;)

I have seen the future!

Hey everybody. Between hurricane Ike and being pretty busy with all sorts of work and commissions. I apologize for loosing the fire in my loins to post. However here is the latest room I finished at the museum. The concept was "Build it Bigger" and I thought it would be sweet to have giant construction robots as well as a future skyline complete with flying cars. Once again I would like to thank my artistic colleague Jerry Parker for his tremendous help especially when I wrenched my back and could not come in to work for three days. Thanks man!

One more thing! For all you paleontologists at heart. Eh, eh, eh, em , Steve. The Houston Museum of Natural Science Is unveiling Leonardo, a Duck Bill Dinosaur with 90 percent of it's skin in tact. The dino also has undigested food still inside it's stomach. How cool is that. I really wanted to put up a clip on the blog but if you go to hmns.org you can check out the clips they have posted there.

Wallet Goblin!!

Just a sketch of the thief that tried to steal my wallet last night. No actually, I can only blame my own stupidity for losing it while I saw the new, (fun for the whole family film Igor) last night. " By the way Igor is a very good movie". I just wish the character designs were better but the story was great and the backgrounds were very cool. Anyway I found the lost item no problem.

When Ike swallowed Texas

Man o Man everybody! It is good to be back to somewhat normal circumstances after hurricane Ike hit Southeast Texas last weekend. The storm was literally the size of Texas but fortunately it was only a category 2. Regardless, my thoughts go out to all of those who have lost a home, a loved one and pretty much everything but your will to rebuild what was lost and put this all behind you.

Sorry I don't have any picture to share but I can honestly tell you that it was a surreal experience how everything we take for granted and assume to be a constant can change in the blink of an eye. Also to think how a tragedy always has the power to bring many people together and realize they have the same goal of peace and survival in common.
