Inspired by some very cool studios

I was browsing around some other blogs featuring the coolest tours of their studios so I wanted to join the band wagon. I love artists because we all love to collect tons and tons of crap. The only problem is functioning in that mess of stuff. For now my studio is also my room.

I did this little maquette to help me out on a children's book I am doing for a commission. It turned out nice but I am not really liking the colors right now. If anyone out there in cyberland knows a lot about painting maquettes I would be more than grateful for some pointers. Thanks

Hey everybody, it was my birthday this past week so I got my self some new books with my money from working part time at Kinko's. I got The art of Surfs up which is fantastic even though the movie does not look so hot. I also got the Art of Pirates of the Caribbean, very very good too. However the best present came from my sister who is teaching English in Japan. She gave me the "Art of Totoro", which is pure gold from cover to cover, I strongly recommend getting it on Amazon if you can.
