It isn't often that I post figure drawing so I wanted to take the opportunity to post this new one I did today. The proportions are a little off but I am very happy with it.

My first day as a 26 year old suckas. This is a side piece from a digital mural I finished for the museum. The mural is massive and makes my computer moan in agony every time I open up each image but as soon as I scale down the file sizes I will post the others. Till then peace everybody.

Auction Night!!

Hey y'all, I was going to post this tomorrow but I can't sleep at the moment. On Thursday night the old High School had a silent art auction featuring work donated by teachers, students and alumni such as myself, Adriana Blake, Travis Hathaway from "Pixar" and Justin Harder from "Reel FX". I am pleased to announce that the auction was a grand success and Adriana and I sold every piece we donated. Travis submitted a drawing of Carl, a character from the upcoming Pixar film "Up". His sketch had about 6 bids by the time the auction closed. The best part was the proceeds went to college scholarships for the high schoolers graduating this year and lord knows they need that mullah for art school.

I needed to make this piece to commemorate my new found love for making my own Photoshop brushes. Also I am finishing up a whopper of a project that will be posted shortly. So stay tuned!!!

Last class today :(

I just turned in my last assignment for the design class I am taking. The project was to take the lyrics of a song and design a piece based on those lyrics. Naturally I chose "Land Of Confusion" by Genesis because it is the best song in the galaxy. Everything in the composition is from a stock photo site but this piece was a good challenge as far as manipulating, adding and subtracting from the images I had to work with. Hope y'all like it and stay tuned for more to come.
