New Book review

I decided to get the art behind Ratatouille book. It was a good buy all around and the digital background paintings are beautiful but I pretty much got the book solely on the amazing and very stylized character designs of the phenomenally talented Carter Goodrich. They are terrific!

This is the last one I promise

Since he was a Monkey grinder I felt he needed a monkey of course. The monkey's face is a little funny and the tail might be off a tad.

Some belated photos from the Jersey Shore

Here are some pictures from Long Beach Island where I vacationed part of the summer. It was a good care free time and the weather was great for the most part. I even got to see about 10 Bottle Nosed Dolphins on a fishing trip, which was more than awesome. There was even a shark sighting at the beach on my last day there, they claimed it was a 5 foot brown shark chasing a small ray or something. I promise this will be my last post for the weekend for I need to get some freaking work done.

Thanks for the comments guys, it is a good shot of confidence as always. Yes Steve I have always been majorly inspired by those portraits in the Haunted Mansion "my favorite attraction at Disney". One of these day I would love to learn how to make those paintings where the eyes follow you around the room.
