When Ike swallowed Texas

Man o Man everybody! It is good to be back to somewhat normal circumstances after hurricane Ike hit Southeast Texas last weekend. The storm was literally the size of Texas but fortunately it was only a category 2. Regardless, my thoughts go out to all of those who have lost a home, a loved one and pretty much everything but your will to rebuild what was lost and put this all behind you.

Sorry I don't have any picture to share but I can honestly tell you that it was a surreal experience how everything we take for granted and assume to be a constant can change in the blink of an eye. Also to think how a tragedy always has the power to bring many people together and realize they have the same goal of peace and survival in common.
