Special Delivery
And a cool building
Street performers everywhere!!!!
I delivered the New Orleans painting this past weekend with my family. We decided to make a weekend trip of it. Just because New Orleans is that awesome. I am so happy it is done and that the client was very pleased. It makes all the frustration well worth it. I just might do another one!!!!

Hey everybody, Last night was an unbelievable success and The Haunted Garage was the hit of the neighborhood, hell to the yeah!!!!!! My friend Stuart and I worked our asses off but the crowds reaction was well worth the many hours of work . My favorite part was when we had repeat kids and adults going through again and again and again. The funniest was a two year old little guy who must have dragged his Dad through 21 times, I kid you not!!! Also thank you to all the friends and coworkers who dropped by too for the partay afterwards!
Any way here are a truckload of pictures and I will be downloading a walk through film of the garage soon. So stay tuned!!! Hope everyone had a good Halloween as well!

The Crypt of Curiosities
Hey everybody. Haunted house numba one is done. We had an early Halloween party at The Xploration Station and it was a good success, so yay !! It sure was down to the wire and we put it all together in what felt like 5 days of non stop work with sleep breaks but I am very pleased with the results and I hope these pictures do it some justice.
One more thing, I would like to thank Stuart M, Matt, Missy, Sarah, Adrienne, Sarah, Nancy, Tristan, Alicia, Angela, Miranda, as well as the haunted house actors Seth and Indy for all of your hard work and help but especially most of the thanks goes to Stuart Dunsmore. You sure are a glutton for punishment buddy but I truly am grateful for all the help!!!! You really worked your tail off man!!
For all of you who are wondering what all this stuff is ( like the awesome chamber of spikes). I will go into more detail when I post the garage haunted house pictures and movie after this Halloween on Friday.
Oh and HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYBODY!!!!! stay safe!

The Firefly and The Stars
I am pleased to announce the short animated film The Firefly and The Stars is on the web and available for purchase. It was directed and animated by the unbelievably talented and genuinely nice Adriana Vargas Blake. I also have to give props to the small team of animators clean up artist and technicians at Stone Soup Traditional Animation that put their passion into this great film.
I am glad to have had the privilege to work on the children's book to go along with the film and I agree that it is just a good hearted timeless tale!
So please take a look at and enjoy the hard work that Adriana and everyone at Stone Soup have put into this great piece of film http://www.thefireflyandthestars.com
Thanks

It just may happen!!!
Projects and work loads are now leaping above full gear and I am now building 2 haunted houses. One haunted maze for the science museum where I work and the second one in my garage. It is crazy but this is what I live for! I guess the Piranhas will have to wait their turn for their newly painted tank.
Any who, this is a sign for the museums haunted party and I hopefully will move him to my haunted house the day after to be the barker sign so to speak for Bill's Garage of Terror. When this old zombie gets some color I'll post him for another cameo. Oh yeah I guess this makes (zombie number 5 baby!!)

Zombie number 4
Poisoned, beaten, stabbed, shot and thrown into an icy river to drown. Yet they say the supernatural Grigori Rasputin was still alive enough to attempt to claw his way out from underneath the ice before he was claimed by hypothermia. He definitely deserves a zombie award!!
On a side note, ever since I first set foot in the Haunted Mansion at Disney World I have always wanted to make a creepy portrait of my very own, and nobody is creepier than old Rasputin. That is why he is going to be hung in Bill Ferguson's Haunted Garage of Terror !!!!!!

The Straight Talk Express!!
I felt compelled to do a caricature of one of the candidates since the presidential race is in full swing. I was watching the latest Presidential debate and couldn't help but laugh that Senator John McCain looked like he was in so much pain during the debate. I was waiting for him to tell Tom Brokaw to pass the question to Senator Barrack Obama because he couldn't bare to stand up and speak to the audience continuously.
My favorite comment from Senator McCain was in response to the dangerous results of using and disposing of Nuclear power. He said something like "I was on a nuclear submarine during the war for crying out loud and look at me now I am as healthy as a horse". After making the comment he then slowly hobbled away in agony. My friends, it's not easy running for the presidency my friends, my friends.

Whats on the docket today!
The museum is hoping to fill a big fish tank with Piranha. Right now it has little cheap fish pooping and peeing in the tank water to bring down the PH and thus not poison and kill the very expensive Piranha when they arrive.
In the meantime to make our aggressive friends with under bites feel at home my boss thought it would be cool to make the tank look like a little portion of the Amazon river. So here is the plan so far. The photoshop painting is a little crusty but it is just what I need to figure out how I will approach the surrounding tank. Let me know what yas think.
